Here's how it works:
$10 pays for your golf, $10 goes toward the skins game.
Based on the number of players, each hole is worth a cash amount. League members compete against each other for the low score on every hole. If no one makes a low score on the first hole, that cash prize carries over to the second hole. This continues until one player scores better than all of the others on a particular hole. Then they win that skin and any of the carry-overs before it. (For example, if there are 25 players, the skins pot is $250 - or $14 per hole. If no one earns a skin on the first three holes, the fourth hole is worth $56!)
Whatever skins are left unclaimed at the end of that night's game will carry over to the next week!
Here's how to join:
Just show up at Eagle Landing Golf Course on any Wednesday night June through August. You can play just one week, every week... it doesn't matter. But the more people that play, the more valuable the skins become.
Plan on checking in around 5:30 and teeing off close to 6:00. The Eagle Landing Men's Club (who hosts the league) will be gathering on the practice green prior to tee-off.
